1.2 x 1.2M Fire blanket

Our 1.2×1.2m fire blanket is constructed of fiberglass, which can withstand temperatures up to 500 ° Celsius. It is packaged in a high-quality, quick-release PVC container. This fire blanket is certified and approved AS/NZS 3504.

The CSIRO ActivFire Scheme is an Australian Government Agency that verifies & certifies fire products which may be installed in Federal and State Government Departments. All our fire blankets are ActivFire certified.

When to use:

• Class A fires – Ordinary combustibles
• Class B fires – Flammable and combustible liquids
• Class F fires – Cooking oils & Fats (limited)

Where to use:

Ideal for use in the home, kitchen, car, caravan, or boat.

Where not to use:

Due to its size, the 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is more suited for small fires, such as small pan fires in kitchens. Although it will be useful in the case of a clothing fire, a larger fire blanket, such as our 1.2m x 1.8m or 1.8m x 1.8m fire blankets, would be recommended.
